Kristen has taken her concept of the ideal spa and combined it with an unsurpassed staff and the finest products to create The Imperial Salon and Spa brand image. She has played an integral role in the development of the management team, staff, and services during each stage of growth. Dawn RussoDirector Of Operations - Born in Chicago and raised on Long Island, New York, Dawn joined the Imperial staff in 2002 as a Nail Technician. Not long after, she started to manage the Nail Department and then went on to become the Spa Director. Today, she is our Director of Operations, leading over 50 devoted, talented and extraordinary staff members. Nikki BlankenshipSalon Manager - Nikki is a classic over-achiever! She is both a Hair Stylist AND a Nail Technician, and well on her way to becoming a Certified Redken Artist. We shouldn’t be surprised that she graduated at the top of her class from Redken’s cosmetology school (Salon Professional Academy) in Ames, Iowa and earned her Master Stylist designation in less than two years! In her five year career, Nikki has already attended numerous hair shows, participated in TIGI and OPI hands on classes, completed an Advanced Razor Cutting class and was singled out for accolades during the Big Sexy Hair Updo competition. Nikki firmly believes in teaching every client how to style their own hair and keep it in top condition. Sal SalvatoA big man with an even bigger smile, Sal first began styling hair in his hometown of Syracuse, New York 42 years ago. He has attended beauty colleges in the U.S. and Canada and received advanced cutting training at Van Iyke International. He owned a hair salon in Nashville, Tennessee during which time he worked on the elaborate hair styles of many Country Music stars. Sal owned a second salon in Boca Raton for 18 years. His extraordinary color sense has twice brought him top honors in competitions. As a member of prestigious InterCoiffure, Sal joined the ranks of the world’s best hairdressers. His work includes television makeovers as well as celebrity styling; most notably attending to the look of former First Lady Laura Bush. He had the opportunity to style former Governor Jeb Bush along with the governor’s children and other Bush family members. His advice to new stylists?
